Abstract: The effect of heavy condensate oil blending ratio on the product distributions and product quality was investigated on a hydrocracking pilot plant unit. The influence of reaction temperature and LHSV on the product properties was studied. Test results showed that it was feasible to process feedstocks blended with heavy condensate oil in the MHC unit of Huizhou Refinery, and with the increase of heavy condensate oil blending ratio, the operation conditions became moderate. Under an optimum heavy condensate oil blending ratio of 8%, the smock point of kerosene distillate reached more than 25 mm, its ice point was below – 60 ℃, meeting the specifications of 3# jet fuel; the sulfur content of diesel fraction was less than 10 g/g, with a cetane number of 57.9 and without multi-ring aromatic hydrocarbons, meeting the requirements of European V exhaust standard for diesel fuel.
