PREPARATION AND EVALUATION OF A SELECTIVE HYDRODESULFURIZATION CATALYST FOR FCC GASOLINE

Abstract: A deep selective hydrodesulfurization catalyst for FCC gasoline desulfurization was prepared based on modifying conventional Al2O3 carrier. The catalyst possessed improved desulfurization activity and lower olefin saturation activity. Under the conditions of a reaction pressure of 1.5 MPa, a reaction temperature of 230℃, a H2/oil volume ratio of 300 and a LHSV of 2.0 h-1, the desulfuration rate of FCC gasoline reached 93.4%, the total sulfur content of treated gasoline dropped from 439.3 μg/g to 29.1 μg/g and the RON loss was only 0.7 units.
