MEASUREMENT AND CORRELATION OF ISOTHERMAL VAPOR-LIQUID EQUILIBRIUM DATA FOR ISOPRENE/n-HEXANE BINARY SYSTEM

Abstract: The isothermal vapor-liquid equilibrium data of the binary system for isoprene/n-hexane at 30℃, 40℃ and 50℃ were measured using a vapor liquid-recycled equilibrium still. The experimental data were confirmed by thermodynamic consistency tests using Herington method. Then the data were correlated by Wilson equation and model parameters were obtained. Results show that the average relative deviations between calculated values and experimental data of vapor phase mole fractions are all less than 0. 33%.
