Abstract: The use of C-234 hydrogenation catalyst from Criterion Co. to purify natural gas for 8 years in Sinopec Puguang natural gas clean plant was introduced. On the basis of the long-term operation results, the technological measures to stabilize the operation of the catalyst are summarized, where include stabilizing the operation of sulfur recovery unit, controlling the air rate of the heating furnace and the inlet temperature of the tail gas hydrogenation reactor.
