Abstract: A honeycomb type denitration catalyst was prepared by titanium dioxide mixed with montmorillonite, ammonium vanadate and ammonium tungstate solutions and was characterized by XRD, BET and SEM, and the denitration activity evaluation. The results showed that the phase structure of the catalyst is anatase TiO2, and the diffraction peak of montmorillonite is not observed, indicating the good compatibility with titanium dioxide. The specific surface area and pore volume of the catalyst increase with the increase of the amount of montmorillonite. When the amount of doped montmorillonite is 10%, the denitration rate of the catalyst is up to 95.8%. The catalysts have good mechanical and wear strength.
