Abstract: To meet the refineries’ requirements for reducing diesel-to-gasoline ratio, Lanzhou Petrochemical Research Center, PetroChina, has successfully developed LPC-70 cracking catalyst for improving gasoline yield. In this catalyst, the hierarchical matrix material APM-7 with high content of Br?nsted acidities has been employed. It can improve gasoline yield and propylene content in LPG greatly as well as heavy oil conversion rate. Recent application of LPC-70 in Lanzhou Petrochemical Company has demonstrated that compared to the blank rating, with the lowing quality of feed oil and catalyst consumption, bottom yield decreased by 0.71%; gasoline yield increased by 2.53%; diesel-to-gasoline mass ratio of the unit decreased from 0.46 to 0.39 and the propylene content in liquid hydrocarbon increased by 6.10 percent point.
