Abstract: Biological fluidized bed technology was used to conduct side-stream test for PTA (p-terephthalic acid) wastewater treatment with a handling capacity of 300 ~ 400L/h. The results showed that in the case of inlet COD of 1000 ~ 3600 mg/L and hydraulic retention time of 7-8h, the average removal rate of the COD reached 91%, and the average volumetric load of BOD was 3.82kg COD/(m3?d). The process has strong impact resistance, and the COD of the treated material was less than 500 mg/L, meeting the requirements of enterprise pretreatment.
