Abstract: The SR-1000 catalyst developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing was regenerated for the first time in the 1.0 Mt/a semi-regenerative reforming unit of PKOP Refinery in Shimkent, Kazakhstan. Compared with the fresh catalyst, the reduction of specific surface area and pore volume of the coking catalyst was less than 2.0%, which showed that the coking process control was relatively stable and the hydrothermal stability of the catalyst was good. Compared with the fresh catalyst, the preliminary results of SR-1000 regenerated catalyst showed that at the condition of the reforming feed of the SR-1000 regeneration catalyst being higher by 17.1 m3/h,the sum of the cyclic alkane and aromatics mass fraction was increased by 6.01 percentage points than that of the fresh catalyst, the stable gasoline RON with regenerated catalyst was higher than that with fresh catalyst by 0.5 , and liquid yield was increased by 0.9 percentage point than that of the fresh catalyst, which showed that the regenerated SR-1000 catalyst had good performance.
