Abstract: With the increasing production of waste plastics and the reduction of fossil energy, the issue of carbon resources recycling has attracted widespread attention. Catalytic pyrolysis technology is a promising treatment solution for the recycling of waste plastics at present, which can solve the problems of environmental pollution and energy shortage. In this paper, the production of light fuel oil and high value-added products by catalytic cracking of waste plastics were reviewed, the effects of waste plastics composition, reaction temperature, reactor type, and catalyst type on the yield of light olefins, light fuel oil and aromatics were investigated, and the application prospect of catalytic cracking of waste plastics to produce light olefins, light fuel oils and aromatics was briefly described. This research was of great significance to the efficient conversion and high-value utilization of waste plastics.
