Abstract: In order to reduce the olefin content in FCC gasoline, the 0.6 Mt/a FCC unit of Yulin Refinery was revamped with MIP technology. After the revamping, the unit exhibited improved heavy oil crackability and moderate hydrogen transfer performance. Under the similar feedstock compositions and properties as compared with prior to revamping, the yields of gasoline and diesel fuel increased, the olefin content in FCC gasoline reduced significantly, the yields of LPG and slurry oil decreased, as well as the dry gas and coke yields decreased a little, the total liquid yield increased and the product distributions were good. Besides, the total energy consumption reduced 182.11 MJ/t after revamping.
