Abstract: Using PIMS software platform and based on the processing data of a refinery to adjust the PIMS model system, an optimum switching scheme system for transporting and processing crude oils separately was developed. Simulating calculation for a 6/4 days switching scheme was carried out. Results showed that said model could be used to make detail plan and scheduler for transporting and processing crude oils separately; it could also be helpful to find out the bottleneck of the plan, and thus ensuring a long-term smoothly running of the scheme. It could also provide reference data for making mid and long term investment of the enterprise.
