Abstract: The application of GARDES technology developed by PetroChina Petrochemical Institute and China University of Petroleum (Beijing) in FCC gasoline hydrodesulfurization unit of Daqing Petrochemical Company Refinery was introduced. The results show that the diene value of FCC gasoline is less than 0.45 gI/(100g) after prehydrotreating. The mercaptane sulfur content of LCN is less than 3μg/g, which can be blended into gasoline directly without alkali sweetening process. The sulfur content of FCC gasoline after HDS is decreased from 97~ 103μg/g to 26μg/g, the sulfur removal rate is 74 %. The mercaptane sulfur content in final product is less than 10μg/g, and the average octane loss is only 0.3 point. The GARDES technology can produce clean national phase IV standard gasoline.
