Abstract: The first application of semi-regenerative reforming catalyst SR-1000 developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing was conducted in the 250 kt/a reforming unit of SINOPEC Qingdao Petrochemical Company. The application results showed that the catalyst SR-1000 had good activity，selectivity，stability and excellent regeneration performance for gasoline or aromatics production. After long term operation，the catalyst still showed good temperature sensitivity. The coke deposition rate was slow, which satisfies with the long term stable operation of the unit under severe operation conditions.
