Abstract: Based on the differences of catalytic materials on the cracking performance of heavy oil and the selectivity of butylene, a catalytic cracking catalyst HBC was developed to selectively increase the yield of the target product and has been applied in No.3 FCC unit of SINOPEC Shijiazhuang Refining and Chemical Company. The results showed that the butylene yields were increased by 0.52-0.82 percentage points, the mass fractions of butylene in LPG were increased by 1.90-3.09 percentage points, the gasoline yields were increased by 0.44-1.74 percentage points, the total liquid yields were increased, and the coke selectivity improved. HBC catalyst provides excellent butylene selectivity and heavy oil cracking capacity simultaneously.
