Abstract: The influencing factors of water-gas shift reaction(WGSR) coupled hydrogenation of model compounds and distillates were reviewed, including the influence of catalyst and reaction conditions on in-situ hydrogenation and the interaction between different types of reactions. The influence mechanism of carbon monoxide partial pressure and water content on in-situ hydrogenation was discussed, and the important role of water in in-situ hydrogenation was analyzed and summarized. It provides an important reference for catalyst selection and reaction condition optimization in in-situ hydrogenation process.

Key words: water-gas shift reaction, in-situ hydrogenation, catalyst
