DEVELOPMENT AND APPLICATION OF ANALYTICAL METHOD FOR COCONUT OIL METHYL ESTER HYDROGENATION PRODUCTS BY GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY

Abstract: The components of raw materials and products were qualitatively analyzed by GC-MS and quantitatively analyzed by GC-FID with correction normalization. The detailed composition of hydrogenation products of coconut oil methyl ester with different hydrogenation degrees was determined. The method could be extended to analyze the different vegetable oil methyl esters and its processing products natural fatty alcohols.
