Abstract: Improving the performance of soot dispersant is the key to solve the diesel engine oil viscosity increase and wear caused by soot. In this paper we developed a new type of soot ashless dispersant with aromatic amine structure. Simulation evaluation and engine bench test studies show that the agent not only has good anti- oxidation and sludge dispersion properties, but also excellent soot dispersion ability. The development of this agent has a positive significance for the development of the advanced diesel engine oil formulations.
