INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION OF DCC-PLUS TECHNOLOGY

Abstract: The concept of DCC-Plus technology developed by SINOPEC Research Institute of Petroleum Processing (RIPP) and the first industrial application of the technology were introduced. The results from DCC-Plus units showed that compared with DCC technology, the DCC-Plus could meet the demand of increasing the production of low carbon olefins while decreasing gasoline and diesel fuel. The yield of propylene rose to 18.22% in DCC-Plus process from 15.50% of the original design, the total yields of gasoline and diesel were reduced to 39.07% from 45.10%, respectively, and the yields of dry gas and coke remained low.
