Abstract: MoP/TiO2-SiO2-Al2O3 catalysts with various TiO2 contents were prepared by in-situ sol-gel method. The hydrodenitrogenation ( HDN) activity of the catalyst was evaluated on a fixed-bed reactor using quinoline as model compound, under a reaction temperature range of 300~400℃ and a reaction pressure of 3 MPa.Results showed that TiO2 content had significant influence on the specific surface area, pore volume and pore diameter of the support.Optimal HDN activity was obtained over MoP/TiO2-SiO2-Al2O3 catalyst with n(Ti):n (Al):n(Si) of 1:4:1.Adding promoter Co could enhance the HDN activity of the catalyst,at an optimal Co content of 2% all the quinoline molecules in the model feed could be removed.
