Abstract: The risks and high corrosive zones of processing high-sulfur crude oil in the crude distillation unit of SINOPEC Gaoqiao Company were analyzed and reviewed. Then some countermeasures for ensuring safety operation of the unit were proposed in order to process more inexpensive high-sulfur crude oil for increase the economic benefit of the Company.
