Abstract: The research results showed that the agglomeration of Pt crystal particles were one of the main reasons for the poor catalytic performance of CCR catalyst in industrial reforming unit. The redispersion of agglomerated Pt crystals was studied. It was found that some slightly agglomerated Pt crystals could be redispersed under certain treating conditions, and the catalytic performance of the treated catalyst was enhanced, yet except catalysts having serious Pt agglomeration or structure changed.
