The clean refining configuration in Hainan Refinery with the capacity of 8.0 Mt/a sour crude oil was summarized. Its characteristics of clean heavy oil processing way, large-scale and domestic process units,all hydro-processing mode,integrative and intensive units design,clean gasoline and diesel production, central recovery and use of all light ends,integration of sulfur recovery system was focused to discuss.Its commercial success will give some references to plan and building of some large-scale refineries.

Moderate pressure hydrocracking (RMC) technology was applied in 1.2Mt/a hydrocracking unit in Zhan Jiang Dong Xing refinery. The unit started run in March 2005, and the assessment of catalysts was executed in December 2005. The data showed that high nitrogen content VGO could be easily hydrocracked at relative low hydrogen partial pressure by RMC technology. The product distribution was satisfying and the product distillates like naphtha, diesel, and unconverted oil all have high qualities. The application of RMC technology in 1.2Mt/a hydrocracking unit was successful.

The effects of preparing conditions for Pt/KL catalyst such as calcination temperature, reduction temperature and reduction time on the performance of aromatization were investigated by the catalytic tests used n-hexane as probe reaction. It was found that the catalyst calcined at 350℃ and reduced at 500℃ for 2 hours was shown a higher activity and selectivity for n-hexane aromatization. By the comparison of the properties such as the surface area, the pore volume, the carbon deposition and the Pt particle size of the used catalyst with those of the fresh catalyst, it was implied that the coking to produce a channel blockage of L zeolite and the Pt agglomeration possibly result in the deactivation of Pt/KL catalysts for hexane aromatization.

The Y zeolite is calcinated at high temperature after fluoride modified. The result shows that the hole has been enlarged after modified and the proportion of mesoporous increased enormously. And the acidity of zeolite has been changed, effectively reducing acid quantity. From our reaction result we can conclude, the cracking has been greatly restrained, and big molecule disappeared. So, the technique of high temperature calcination after fluoride modified can satisfy with the zeolite of hydrodearomatization catalyst.

Industrial catalyst was phosphided with the solution of ammonium dibasic phosphate,and were characterized by TG 、XRD、BET. Thiophene hydrodesulfurization(HDS) activities of catalysts prepared at different reduce temperature were tested. The studied results showed with the calcined temperature raised, the original reduction temperature of phosphided industrial catalyst precursor increased and the losing weight ratio of phosphided industrial catalyst decreased. The reduction temperature had little effect on the bulk structure of catalysts. BET surface area increased with the calcinations temperature improving. The higher reaction temperature was favor to the thiophene HDS of phosphiede industrial catalyst and thiophene HDS activity decreased with the reduction temperature increasing. 550℃ was found the optimum reduction temperature for phosphiding industrial catalyst precursor, which gave the thiophene HDS conversion was 99.45% and 61.15% at reactioin temperature of 360℃ and 300℃, respectively.

The phase transfer catalyst agent is prepared by heteropol acid which contained a Keggin structure. It can be used in catalysis oxidative reaction, and the organic sulfurous compound can be inverted to more polarity oxysulfide sulfoxide with it. Separate oxysulfide sulfoxide from oil, the sulfur content of oil can be reduced. Study on the catalysis of air-oxidate desulfurization of diesel oil by WK-2D Decline Coulomb Integrate Analyzer and infrared spectrometric analyzer. The result showed that under the condition of acidic circumstance (pH=2~3), at the room temperature, a three hours reaction process, and extract by the polarity solvent, the sulfur content of oil can reduced more than 85 percent.

A two-step hydrothermal procedure is adopted in this synthesis, in order to assemble mesoporous-microporous titanosilicate molecular sieves with high hydrothermal stability. The mesoporous molecular sieves are synthesized using CTAB as template and titaniumsilicate nanoclusters containg TS-1 primary and secondary building units as inorganic species in alkaline media. The zeolite obtained in alkaline media show good long-range order, uniform size, large specific areas and pore volume.XRD, BET, IR, UV-Vis techniques are used to characterize the synthsized mesoporous molecular sieves, the results show that the titaniumsilicate nanoclusters are incorporated into the wall of mesoporous molecular sieves successfully.The catalytic activities in styrene epoxidation showed that styrene epoxide had the best product selectivity.

TiO2/Al2O3 complex support was synthesis by improved sol-gel method and characterized by means of XRD、BET and TEM. Effect of ratio of template and Al(NO3)3·9H2O on physic properties were studied. Surface morphology and different TiO2 content of complex support were also investigated. The selective hydrogenation property of catalysts supported on TiO2/Al2O3 was investigated. The results showed that the combined support was prepared by improved sol-gel method with the largest surface area, appropriate pore volume/diameter and focused pore distribution. Tiatania and alumina in the combined support were anatase and γ- Al2O3 crystal structure, respectively. Increasing of adding template, specific surface area, pore volume and average pore diameter of support gradually augmented. The optimum rate of Al(NO3)3·9H2O and template was 0.5. In the sample of different TiO2 content, diffraction peak of TiO2 was weak. It indicated that TiO2 was uniformity distributed on surface of Al2O3. The result revealed that titania-alumina-supported MoP catalyst had higher the catalytic activity of selective hydrogenation.

The pyrolysis characteristics of sewage sludge from Shenghua Refinery with the presence of nitrogen were experimentally studied with a therm-gravity analyzer(TGA). The experimental results show that there are two periods under the rising temperature rates of 5 ℃omin-1、10 ℃omin-1 and 15 ℃omin-1 to be observed: water evaporation and organic matter pyrolysis. In the period of organic matter pyrolysis, the mechanical equation of pyrolysis reaction and the kinetics parameter E and A. From 200℃ to 450℃, pyrolysis reaction of sludge is a first order reaction; from 450℃ to 900℃, pyrolysis reaction is second order reaction; Activation energy change insignificantly under the different rising temperature rate.

L-DRB/A10 full-closed refrigerator oil is one kind of special-purpose lubricating oil for enclosed refrigeration compressor using R600a as the cold intermediary. The lubricating oil should possess the good low temperature stability, hot-chemical stability, electric insulativity and lubricating ability, with same life as enclosed refrigeration compressor. Through selecting specifications of the products and base oil and chemical additive and compressor experiment, the L-DRB/A10 full-closed refrigerator oil obtained can meet the enclosed refrigeration compressor movement operating mode.

This research studied the effects of structure parameters and arrangements of louver baffles on the hydrodynamics properties of a turbulent gas-solid fluidized bed of FCC particles in a 500mm×30mm×6000mm two-dimensional cold model installation. The experimental results showed that the louver baffle could break up bubbles and restrain the backmixing of particles across baffles and different structure parameters and arrangements had different effects. On breaking up bubbles, baffles arranged in the middle of dense phase, with more layers and with lesser vane gap will be better. On restraining the backmixing of particles across baffles, baffles with more layers, with lesser vane gap and with lesser inclination angle of vane will be better.
